An irrational tale
Artistic program for a mixed group of people with or without disabilities

- Dates
- 15 Oct - 15 Nov
After last year’s extremely successful implementation, the educational artistic program “An Irrational Irrational” returns, continuing its course with one last cycle during the 2025/26 artistic season. The program, designed with inclusion and collective creation in mind, is addressed to a mixed group of people with or without disabilities, bringing to the forefront the desire to speak and be heard, the self-evident need for meaningful contact.
During last year’s cycle, the participants, through storytelling, movement, music and improvisation, drew elements from their everyday lives and created a shared artistic narrative that moved and inspired.
This year’s continuation is based on the same philosophy, but paves the way for new approaches and discoveries. Starting from folk poetry and absurdities – these unique narrative songs that, in the manner of fairy tales, describe the adventures of human life – the groups will explore their epic-lyrical character and will utilize extra-logical and fantastic elements to create a new absurdity of today: an “absurd” polyphonic work that will draw themes from their everyday life and the urban-mythological landscape of Athens.
In this way, the program continues to connect the traditional with the contemporary and individual experience with collective creation, offering a field where art becomes a vehicle for communication, inclusion and inspiration.
