The acclaimed GNO soloists Vassiliki Karayanni, Yannis Christopoulos, and Dionysios Sourbis will present an extraordinary musical journey through the world of opera. Accompanying them on the piano will be Sofia Tamvakopoulou and Christos Sakellaridis (Chania). This special recital will offer audiences a high-caliber artistic experience.

The programme includes well-known arias, songs, and much-loved excerpts from the international and Greek repertoires of opera, operetta, and sophisticated singing, in a carefully selected anthology that highlights the genre’s dramatic quality, passion, and beauty. Through the singer’s performances, the audience will have the opportunity to be introduced to or reconnect with emblematic works that have left their mark on opera’s history.

The recital will feature pieces by renowned composers, including Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Massenet, and Ravel, as well as selections from significant works of Greek music theatre, and songs by Konstantinidis and Sakellaridis. The blend of international and Greek repertoires creates a diverse programme aimed at both initiated and new audiences.
