The sound, movement and speech workshop I know a woman attempts to create cross sections between gender, sexuality and culture-and-social-class-related issues, through improvisation and co-creation processes. Women of all ages from various communities of Athens come together on a weekly basis at Melissa Network for women immigrants, to co-shape original miniatures of speech, sound and movement. Their tools are natural and electronic sounds, speech, personal stories, movement and dance.
