Stavros Niarchos Hall / Herodion

Born in Warsaw, he graduated from the Institute of Polish Culture at the University of Warsaw and the faculties of film directing and screenwriting at the Polish National Film School in Łódź. He works as a film director. His works have been presented at a number of international film festivals, including Locarno, Vancouver, Madrid, St Petersburg, Tampere, Vienna, Sibiu. Since 2009 he has been working with Robert Wilson as the author of video projections (video design). In his artistic work he also cooperated with such artists as Laurent Chétouane, Tilman Hecker and Herbert Grönemeyer, for whom he prepared projections for the tour promoting the album Dauernd jetzt. In 2015 he was a finalist of the Papaya Young Directors competition and held an artistic residency in The Watermill Center, NY. He is currently working on his feature film.
