Greek bass-baritone, born in Thessaloniki, Greece, he comes from Rodolivos, Serres. He studied classical singing under Chariklia Glavopoulou, piano, violin and at the Department of Primary Level Education (Democritus University of Thrace). He received the Onassis Foundation scholarship and completed postgraduate studies in opera at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. Since 2018 he has been a permanent soloist at the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich, where he has distinguished himself by receiving excellent reviews in such roles as Don Giovanni / Leporello (Don Giovanni), Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Escamillo (Carmen), Wurm (Luisa Miller), Sparafucile (Rigoletto), Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Don Basilio (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Schaunard (La bohème), Nourabad (Les Pêcheurs de perles), as well as the four villains in Les Contes d’Hoffmann. He has collaborated with pres- tigious international theatres such as the GNO, Daegu Opera (South Korea), Bavarian State Opera and Royal Opera House (Covent Garden, London). He plays seven musical instruments. In 2022, Opera News magazine included him among the twenty rising superstars of world opera.
