Stage director and artistic director of the Athens Epidaurus Festival since 2019. She is the first woman and the youngest person in the history of the institution to hold this position. Under her direction, the Festival focuses on international co-productions and world premieres, as well as innovative approaches to ancient drama, expanding significantly its audience. She has directed more than 30 large scale productions in leading organisations in Greece and abroad (Germany, Russia, China, Hong Kong, etc), moving from ancient drama to opera and from adapted literature and the great classic works to contemporary repertoire. Her work has received international recognition and significant distinctions. Recently, the French government awarded her the prestigious title of Knight of the Order of Letters and Arts in recognition of her contribution to the fields of letters, arts and culture. She has been repeatedly invited as a speaker at leading international conferences and festivals, as well as a lecturer at academic institutions in Greece and abroad (New York, Shanghai, Seoul, etc).
