Stavros Niarchos Hall / Herodion

A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy (University of Ioannina) with a specialisation in psychology. For the last 22 years he has been involved with dance on a professional level, counting numerous collaborations with notable artists of dance, theatre, music and cinema in Greece and abroad. He is the instigator of the Athens Festival Urban Dance Contest, while from 2019 to 2022 he served as a dance consultant for the Athens Epidaurus Festival. His choreographic works have been presented at major festivals and cultural institutions, with his latest performance Scared being presented in the Athens Epidaurus Festival 2024. In 2024 he received the funding Startup Forum Award from the European Aerowaves Network for his curatorial proposal, which he implemented with the creation of the three-day dance festival and cycle of movement seminars Dancells Dance Festival at the Korydallos Detention Centre, in co-production and collaboration with the GNO Learning & Participation Department and Flux Laboratory. He teaches dance on amateur and professional level.
