Born in Athens in 1976. He grew up in a family directly connected with Greek music. From a very young age, his environment was associated with rebetiko, Greek popular art song (entechno) and Byzantine music. He began his career essentially playing the santur in recordings and live performances while studying the art of Byzantine music as well as music theory. At the age of 20, the idea of creating an orchestra that would play a significant role in Greek music began to mature. This orchestra became the Estoudiantina of Nea Ionia Magnesia. He has collaborated with most singers from the fields of Greek popular (laiko) and popular art (entechno) song, as well as from the field of folk music; he has written music for theatre and television, has scored major productions abroad and is the composer of the official anthem of the Mediterranean Games. He has set many Greek poets to music and has published over 40 personal albums. He has received awards for his music in Greece and abroad. He is a secondary school teacher and lives in Athens and Volos.
