Are all of the Greek National Opera's productions available on GNO TV?

No, not all of the Greek National Opera’s productions are available on GNO TV. The platform features a selection of recorded opera, ballet, and musical theater productions, concerts, and special digital content. The available content is updated gradually and may include free productions, as well as productions available for purchase or through a subscription package.

Are subtitles available for GNO TV performances?

All opera performances will offer a choice of Greek and English subtitles, while some will also offer French and/or German subtitles. You can also choose to turn off the subtitles if you wish.

Can I watch free content on GNO TV?

GNO TV also offers content that you can watch without having to purchase a ticket.

Can I watch the show on another device?

You can watch any show for which you have purchased a ticket on any device you own, provided that you have previously logged in to your personal GNO TV account using that device. Please note that your profile is linked to the browser you used when you first registered. Therefore, every time you switch browsers, you will receive a user confirmation email.

Do I have to log in every time I want to watch the show?

To watch the performance for which you have purchased a ticket, you must first log in to your personal account on the GNO TV platform. If you do not click “Log Out” when you close the window and leave the platform, you will remain logged in and will not need to re-enter your email and password.

How can I attend the show for which I have purchased a ticket?

How can I subscribe to the newsletter and receive your updates?

How can I watch GNO TV performances on my smart TV?

If your Smart TV allows you to open a browser, enter the address https://nationalopera.gr/gnotv. Then enter the unique code displayed at the top of your e-ticket, and the player will begin streaming the performance.

If your TV does not support this feature, you will need to repeat the process on your laptop and then connect it to the TV via HDMI to watch the show on the big screen. Please note that the development of specialized apps for remote content streaming (Chromecast/Smart TV) is not included in this initial phase of the GNO TV platform but will be available soon.

How can I watch performances on GNO TV with subtitles?

On the screen playing the video of the performance, tap the three dots in the lower right corner, and the "Captions" option will appear. Once you tap it, the subtitle language options will open, and there you can select the language you want.

How long is my ticket valid?

The ticket you have purchased is valid for 30 days, not from the moment you purchase it, nor from the moment you register it on the platform, but from the first time you click the PLAY option below the title of the respective performance. If you do not click on that option, the 30-day period does not begin to count down.

How many times can I use the unique code that appears on my e-ticket?

The code sent to you on your e-ticket grants you unlimited access to the performance you have selected for a period of one month from the day you click the PLAYPRODUCE button on your device. In other words, there are no specific viewing times for the show; you can watch it an unlimited number of times and can pause and resume viewing at any time for one month after your first viewing.

How much does the ticket cost?

GNO TV content does not always require the purchase of a ticket. There are performances that the public can attend for free. In any case, ticket prices vary depending on the performance the viewer wishes to attend. From time to time, discounted package tickets will also be available to the public.

I can't find the email confirming my account. What should I do?

It is common for some emails to be automatically sent to the spam folder due to your provider’s settings, which filter your email. Therefore, if you were unable to find your message, it may have been sent to your spam folder.

I didn't activate my account right away, and the activation link has expired. What should I do?

Please report the issue either by phone to the ELS ticket office at 2130885700 (9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. daily) or by sending us an email at gnotvsupport@nationalopera.gr. Once we receive this information, your account will be reactivated as soon as possible (within the same day).

I went to the platform to sign up, and the system is asking me for a password. What should I click?

After clicking on the "Log In / Sign Up" option in the upper right corner of the home page, make sure you select the " Sign Up " button on the right side of the page before entering your information. Choose a username and password that work for you to create your personal account.

Is watching GNO TV free?

GNO TV offers flexible ways to access its content, so you can choose what works best for you. The free content, which includes selected productions such as online festivals, children’s animation, and specific concerts, is available at no charge once you create an account. Most new productions are available for purchase (on-demand), and there are also subscription packages, such as the Golden Pass, which offer unlimited viewing for one year.

What do I need to watch a GNO TV performance?

To watch the broadcast, viewers must have internet access and use a device (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, Smart TV, etc.) via a browser that supports HTML5 and ECMAScript 6, with cookies enabled.

Essentially, you can watch GNO TV performances just as you would watch a performance on YouTube, with the difference that you need to enter a ticket code beforehand (for performances that require a ticket purchase).

Why won't the video of the performance start playing, even though I've entered the unique code that appears on my e-ticket into the platform?

If, when you enter your code on the platform, the message “The ticket code you entered is invalid” appears, then you may not have entered it correctly. You can check to see if you’ve entered any extra spaces at the beginning or end of the code. Delete all characters in the field and type the numbers one by one (in other words, do not use the auto-fill suggestion from your browser).

If the code works but the video of the performance won't play while the page is loading, then there may be a browser incompatibility issue, so we recommend that you try opening the page in a different browser.

• A 10% discount is offered for group reservations of more than 10 people.

What is the “Opera for Everyone” program?

The “Opera for All” program is a social policy initiative of the Greek National Opera (GNO), implemented with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). As part of its commitment to artistic outreach and further expanding its audience, the Greek National Opera is offering 6,000 tickets to young people aged 17–22, people over 65, parents of large families, and unemployed residents for selected performances at the Stavros Niarchos Hall. The 6,000 free seats are allocated through an online lottery system, which ensures the integrity of the process.

When does advance ticket sales begin?

The Greek National Opera offers tickets in three presale periods throughout the year: • September–December • January–March • April–July. The start of each period is announced by the GNO Press Office as follows: • In June for the September–December period • In November for the January–March period • In February for the April–July period. Γιατί δεν μπορώ να βρω τον κωδικό του εισιτηρίου μου;

Σε αυτή την περίπτωση, είναι πιθανό η συναλλαγή σας να μην ολοκληρώθηκε με επιτυχία. Δοκιμάστε να επικοινωνήσετε απευθείας με τον πάροχο του εισιτηρίου σας: Ticket Services, Public και ταμεία της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής στο 2130885700 (9.00-21.00 καθημερινά).

Γιατί δεν ξεκινάει η προβολή του βίντεο της παράστασης, ενώ έχω εισαγάγει στην πλατφόρμα τον μοναδικό κωδικό που εμφανίζεται στο ηλεκτρονικό εισιτήριό μου;

Εάν πληκτρολογώντας τον κωδικό σας στην πλατφόρμα, αναγράφεται το μήνυμα «Ο κωδικός εισιτηρίου που εισάγετε δεν είναι έγκυρος», τότε ίσως να μην τον έχετε γράψει σωστά. Μπορείτε να ελέγξετε εάν έχετε εισαγάγει λάθος κενά στην αρχή ή στο τέλος του κωδικού. Σβήστε όλους τους χαρακτήρες που έχει μέσα το πεδίο και πληκτρολογήστε έναν έναν τους αριθμούς (μην πατήσετε δηλαδή αυτό που σας εμφανίζει αποθηκευμένο ο browser).

Θα πρέπει να αναφέρετε το πρόβλημα είτε τηλεφωνικά στα ταμεία της ΕΛΣ στο 2130885700 (9.00-21.00 καθημερινά) είτε να μας στείλετε ένα email στο gnotvsupport@nationalopera.gr. Αφού λάβουμε την πληροφορία, ο λογαριασμός σας θα ενεργοποιηθεί το συντομότερο δυνατό (εντός της ημέρας).

Δεν μπορώ να βρω το email επιβεβαίωσης του λογαριασμού μου. Τι να κάνω;

Είναι σύνηθες φαινόμενο λόγω των ρυθμίσεων του παρόχου που φιλτράρει την ηλεκτρονική σας αλληλογραφία κάποια email να πηγαίνουν αυτόματα στην ανεπιθύμητη αλληλογραφία (spam). Επομένως, αν δεν μπορέσατε να βρείτε το μήνυμά σας, το μήνυμα ενδέχεται να έχει αποσταλεί στον φάκελο των ανεπιθύμητων (spam).

Διατίθενται προσβάσεις για άτομα με αναπηρία;

Ο χώρος διαθέτει ρυθμισμένες προσβάσεις και θέσεις για άτομα με μειωμένη κινητικότητα. Συνιστάται να ενημερώνετε το ταμείο κατά την κράτηση για συγκεκριμένες ανάγκες.

Η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή πραγματοποιεί ακροάσεις για την επιλογή καλλιτεχνών, οι οποίες ανακοινώνονται κατά διαστήματα, ανάλογα με τις ανάγκες των παραγωγών. Οι σχετικές προσκλήσεις εκδήλωσης ενδιαφέροντος δημοσιεύονται στην επίσημη ιστοσελίδα της ΕΛΣ και στα κανάλια επικοινωνίας της. Συνιστάται να τα παρακολουθείτε τακτικά, ώστε να ενημερώνεστε έγκαιρα για διαθέσιμες ευκαιρίες συμμετοχής. Σε ορισμένες περιπτώσεις, ενδέχεται να πραγματοποιούνται και ακροάσεις κατόπιν πρόσκλησης.

Ναι, οι εγκαταστάσεις της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής στο ΚΠΙΣΝ είναι πλήρως προσβάσιμες. Αναλυτικότερα, οι ανελκυστήρες στα κτίρια του ΚΠΙΣΝ είναι προσβάσιμοι σε όλους και διαθέτουν σημάνσεις σε γραφή Braille και φωνητικές προειδοποιήσεις. Μπορείτε να παρακολουθήσετε οποιαδήποτε παράσταση για την οποία έχετε προμηθευτεί εισιτήριο από οποιαδήποτε συσκευή διαθέτετε, με μοναδική προϋπόθεση να έχετε προηγουμένως συνδεθεί μέσω αυτής στον προσωπικό λογαριασμό σας στην GNO TV. Σημειώστε ότι το προφίλ σας έχει συνδεθεί με τον browser που χρησιμοποιήθηκε κατά την πρώτη εγγραφή. Επομένως κάθε φορά που θα αλλάζετε browser θα σας στέλνεται ένα email επιβεβαίωσης του χρήστη.

Πόση διάρκεια έχουν οι παραστάσεις;

Η διάρκεια διαφέρει ανάλογα με την παραγωγή και αναφέρεται στην ιστοσελίδα κάθε παράστασης.

Πόση ώρα πριν την παράσταση πρέπει να φτάσω;

Συνιστάται η άφιξη τουλάχιστον 30 λεπτά πριν από την έναρξη της παράστασης.

Πόσο κοστίζει το εισιτήριο;

Το περιεχόμενο της GNO TV δεν απαιτεί πάντα την αγορά εισιτηρίου. Υπάρχουν παραστάσεις που το κοινό μπορεί να παρακολουθήσει δωρεάν. Σε κάθε περίπτωση, οι τιμές εισιτηρίων κυμαίνονται ανάλογα με την παράσταση που επιθυμεί ο θεατής να παρακολουθήσει. Κατά καιρούς θα διατίθενται στο κοινό και κάρτες για πακέτα παραστάσεων με μειωμένη τιμή.

Πώς μπορώ να παρακολουθήσω τις παραστάσεις στην GNO TV με υποτίτλους;

Στην οθόνη που παίζει το βίντεο της παράστασης, επιλέγετε στην κάτω δεξιά πλευρά τις τρεις τελείες και σας εμφανίζεται η επιλογή captions/λεζάντες. Μόλις το πατήσετε, θα ανοίξουν οι επιλογές της γλώσσας των υποτίτλων και εκεί μπορείτε να επιλέξετε τη γλώσσα που επιθυμείτε.

Πώς μπορώ να παρακολουθήσω τις παραστάσεις της GNO TV στη smart τηλεόρασή μου;

Εφόσον η Smart TV που διαθέτετε σας δίνει τη δυνατότητα να ανοίξετε browser, πληκτρολογήστε τη διεύθυνση https://nationalopera.gr/gnotv. Στη συνέχεια εισαγάγετε τον μοναδικό κωδικό που εμφανίζεται στο πάνω μέρος του ηλεκτρονικού εισιτηρίου σας και ο player θα ξεκινήσει να προβάλλει την παράσταση.

Σε περίπτωση που η τηλεόρασή σας δεν σας δίνει αυτή τη δυνατότητα, τότε θα πρέπει να επαναλάβετε τη διαδικασία στο laptop και στη συνέχεια να το συνδέσετε με HDMI στην τηλεόραση για να δείτε την παράσταση στη μεγάλη οθόνη. Σημειώνεται ότι η ανάπτυξη ειδικών εφαρμογών για απομακρυσμένη αναπαραγωγή υλικού (Chromecast/SmartTV) δεν συμπεριλαμβάνονται σε αυτό το αρχικό στάδιο της πλατφόρμας GNO TV αλλά θα είναι σύντομα διαθέσιμη.

Τι είναι το πρόγραμμα «Λυρική για όλους»;

Το πρόγραμμα «Λυρική για όλους» είναι μια πρωτοβουλία κοινωνικής πολιτικής της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής (ΕΛΣ), που υλοποιείται με την υποστήριξη του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος (ΙΣΝ). Στο πλαίσιο της καλλιτεχνικής εξωστρέφειας και της περαιτέρω διεύρυνσης του κοινού της, η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή προσφέρει 6.000 θέσεις σε νέους 17-22 ετών, άτομα άνω των 65 ετών, πολύτεκνους και άνεργους συμπολίτες μας για επιλεγμένες παραστάσεις της Αίθουσας Σταύρος Νιάρχος. Οι 6.000 δωρεάν θέσεις διατίθενται μέσω ηλεκτρονικού συστήματος κληρώσεων, το οποίο διασφαλίζει το αδιάβλητο της διαδικασίας.

Τι ισχύ έχει το εισιτήριό μου;

Το εισιτήριο που έχετε προμηθευτεί έχει χρονική ισχύ 30 ημερών, όχι από τη στιγμή που το προμηθεύεστε, ούτε από τη στιγμή που το καταχωρείτε στην πλατφόρμα αλλά από την πρώτη φορά που θα κάνετε κλικ στην επιλογή ΑΝΑΠΑΡΑΓΩΓΗ κάτω από τον τίτλο της εκάστοτε παράστασης. Σε περίπτωση που δεν κάνετε κλικ στη συγκεκριμένη επιλογή, το χρονικό διάστημα των 30 ημερών δεν ξεκινάει να μετράει αντίστροφα.

Τι συμβαίνει αν καθυστερήσω;

Σε περίπτωση αργοπορημένης άφιξης, η είσοδος είναι δυνατή μόνο κατά τη διάρκεια διαλείμματος, όπου αυτό προβλέπεται. Αργοπορημένοι θεατές που δεν τους επιτράπηκε η είσοδος δεν δικαιούνται αποζημίωση ή επιστροφή χρημάτων.

Τι σύνδεση χρειάζομαι για να παρακολουθήσω το περιεχόμενο της GNO TV;

Για την παρακολούθηση της προβολής εκ μέρους του θεατή είναι απαραίτητη η πρόσβαση στο διαδίκτυο και η χρήση συσκευής (PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, Smart TV κλπ.) μέσω φυλλομετρητή (browser) που υποστηρίζει HTML5, EcmaScript 6 και με ενεργοποιημένα τα cookies.

Στην ουσία μπορείτε να παρακολουθήσετε τις παραστάσεις της GNO TV, όπως θα παρακολουθούσατε μια παράσταση στο YouTube, με τη διαφορά ότι χρειάζεται να εισαγάγετε προηγουμένως κωδικό εισιτηρίου (για τις παραστάσεις που απαιτείται αγορά εισιτηρίου).

Τι ώρα ανοίγουν οι πόρτες πριν από μια παράσταση;

Οι πόρτες ανοίγουν συνήθως μία ώρα πριν την έναρξη της παράστασης. Ελέγξτε την επιβεβαίωση της κράτησης ή την ιστοσελίδα για την εκάστοτε εκδήλωση.

Το email με τον σύνδεσμο ενεργοποίησης του λογαριασμού μου έχει έρθει «παγωμένο» σαν φωτογραφία και δεν μπορώ να ολοκληρώσω τη διαδικασία. Τι πρέπει να κάνω;

Υπάρχει dress code;

Δεν απαιτείται επίσημη ενδυμασία· προτείνεται όμως έξυπνη αλλά άνετη εμφάνιση ώστε να σέβεται τον χώρο και το κοινό.

Υπάρχει όριο στον αριθμό εισιτηρίων που μπορώ να αγοράσω;

Ο μέγιστος αριθμός εισιτηρίων που μπορεί να αγοράσει ένα άτομο είναι 20. Ομάδες φιλόμουσων (από 10 άτομα και πάνω), σύλλογοι και σχολεία μπορούν να απευθύνονται για ομαδικές κρατήσεις στο τηλέφωνο 2130885742 (κα Βίκυ Πανάγου).

Υπάρχει συγκεκριμένος ενδυματολογικός κώδικας;

Δεν υπάρχει επίσημος ενδυματολογικός κώδικας. Στην Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή θέλουμε να αισθάνεστε άνετα και ελεύθεροι να απολαύσετε όσα διαδραματίζονται στη σκηνή. Για τον λόγο αυτό, ενθαρρύνουμε τους θεατές και επισκέπτες να επιλέγουν την ενδυμασία που τους κάνει να νιώθουν πιο άνετα.

Υπάρχει χρέωση για τη συμμετοχή των παιδιών;

Η συμμετοχή στην Παιδική Χορωδία της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής είναι δωρεάν.

Υπάρχει χώρος στάθμευσης;

Υπάρχουν διαθέσιμοι υπότιτλοι για τις παραστάσεις της GNO TV;

Όλες οι παραστάσεις όπερας θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα επιλογής ελληνικών και αγγλικών υποτίτλων, ενώ ορισμένες θα έχουν επιπλέον την επιλογή γαλλικών ή/και γερμανικών υποτίτλων. Μπορείτε επίσης να επιλέξετε την απενεργοποίηση των υποτίτλων, εάν το επιθυμείτε.

Υπάρχουν διαλείμματα στις παραστάσεις;

Ορισμένες παραγωγές περιλαμβάνουν διαλείμματα, τα οποία αναφέρονται στο πρόγραμμα της παράστασης.

Υπάρχουν δωρεάν προγράμματα για ενήλικες;

Ναι, η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή προσφέρει δωρεάν εκπαιδευτικές και κοινωνικές δράσεις για ενήλικες, με έμφαση στη συμμετοχικότητα, όπως εργαστήρια όπερας, μουσικού θεάτρου και χορού, συχνά σε συνεργασία με φορείς. Επιπλέον, μέσω του προγράμματος «Λυρική για όλους» η ΕΛΣ προσφέρει χιλιάδες δωρεάν εισιτήρια σε νέους 17 έως 22 ετών, άτομα άνω των 65 ετών, πολύτεκνους και άνεργους συμπολίτες μας.

Υπάρχουν εκπαιδευτικά προγράμματα για παιδιά;

Ναι, η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή προσφέρει ένα πλούσιο και διευρυμένο πρόγραμμα εκπαιδευτικών και κοινωνικών δράσεων για παιδιά και εφήβους, το οποίο περιλαμβάνει βιωματικά εργαστήρια, μουσικές αφηγήσεις και συμμετοχικές εμπειρίες για τη γνωριμία με την όπερα και τη μουσική.

Υπάρχουν εκπτώσεις στα εισιτήρια;

Η Εθνική Λυρική Σκηνή προσφέρει εκπτωτικά εισιτήρια για συγκεκριμένες κατηγορίες κοινού. Πιο συγκεκριμένα:

• Διατίθενται φοιτητικά εισιτήρια (τιμή 15€) στις ζώνες Γ, Δ, Ε, Ζ, ΧΧΧ για κάθε παράσταση. Η αγορά πραγματοποιείται μόνο από τα Ταμεία της ΕΛΣ και η είσοδος στο θέατρο γίνεται με επίδειξη της φοιτητικής ταυτότητας.

• Για ομαδικές κρατήσεις πάνω από 10 άτομα προβλέπεται έκπτωση 10%.

Οι παραγωγές της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής παρουσιάζονται στη γλώσσα του πρωτότυπου έργου. Στις περισσότερες παραστάσεις παρέχονται υπότιτλοι/υπέρτιτλοι στα ελληνικά ή/και στα αγγλικά, ανάλογα με την παραγωγή, ώστε το κοινό να μπορεί να παρακολουθεί την εξέλιξη του έργου.

Χρειάζονται τα παιδιά εισιτήριο;

Ναι, κάθε θεατής που εισέρχεται στην αίθουσα πρέπει να διαθέτει έγκυρο εισιτήριο. Για τα παιδιά διατίθεται μειωμένο εισιτήριο, σύμφωνα με την ισχύουσα πολιτική τιμών της Εθνικής Λυρικής Σκηνής.
