Cry for love
Olympia Theatre
As part of the Opera Cycle, ‘Cry for love’, a unique dramatic composition on tough love affairs directed by Magda Mavroyianni, was performed at the Olympia Theatre Foyer (5 January 2014, free admission). The programme featured exquisite songs by Reynaldo Hahn, Samuel Barber, Henri Duparc, Claude Debussy, Francesco Paolo Tosti and Gabriel Faure, with Maria Kokka (soprano) in the main interpretive role and Dimitris Yiakas (piano).
