Gardens of Subversion will return as a new exploration of visual artist and set designer Petros Touloudis’ work of the same name, inspired by an 18th-century map of the Rococo gardens at Solitude Palace (Schloss Solitude) in Stuttgart, Germany. The work unfolds within a multilayered installation, in which the garden is treated as a system: a space where logic, desire, power, and subversion co-exist within a single narrative. The exhibition serves as a platform for works by artists from diverse geographical and cultural backgrounds, creating a shared conceptual space.
