Oros Ensemble was formed in January 2020 by a group of young musicians who live and operate in Greece and abroad, with the assistance of the Greek National Opera and the support of the Vamvakou Revival team, made possible thanks to the moral and financial support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). The group has a very strong concert presence throughout Greece, co-operating with important cultural venues and festivals such as the Greek National Opera, the Sacred Music Festival (Athens), the All of Greece, One Culture programme of the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, MicroDances (Athens), the Rethymno Days, the Anoixta Pania (Chania, Crete), while already planning concerts in Greece and abroad for the upcoming months. The Oros Ensemble consists of Konstantinos Zigkeridis (accordion), Dimitris Karagiannakidis (cello), Eirini Krikoni (violin), Antonios Tsachtanis (clarinet), Kazuyo Tsunehiro (percussion), Apostolis Koutsogiannis (composer).
