Born in Athens, she studied at the Greek National School of Dance (KSOT) and the National Conservatory of Athens, Greece. She continued her studies with a scholarship from the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports and the KSOT at the Trinity Laban in London, where she received her Diploma in Dance Theatre. She completed a two-year educational course in Body-Mind Centering. She studied with Daniel Lommel, Steve Paxton, Harris Mandafounis, Zouzou Nikoloudi, Giannis Metsis, Lefteris Konstantinou. In 1989, she won a first distinction in the first Rallou Manou young choreographers’ contest; in 1992, she received the first prize in the Greek National Tourism Organisation (EOT) choreography contest and, in 1998, she was nominated for the Best Dancer Award and won Best Choreography of the year award as part of the Harris Mandafounis ensemble. She has danced with some of the most prominent ensembles in Greece and has toured in important dance centres around the world. She has worked with the Greek National Opera, Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall and Thessaloniki Concert Hall. She has been teaching since 1994. In 2002, she founded the Eldor dance company. She was vice president of the Greek Choreographers’ Association and is a member of the International Dance Council (CID) and the Athens Conservatoire Music and Drama Society. She is currently the director of the Athens Conservatoire Professional Dance School.
