Greek tenor, he studied economics at the University of Piraeus and music at the Athens Conservatory, National Conservatory (Athens), as well as at the Vienna Academy of Music (Onassis Foundation scholarship). In 1989 he became a permanent soloist of the Greek National Opera, where during 1997/99 he also served as associate artistic director. He has sung almost 40 leading roles in operas and operettas (Il trovatore, La traviata, La bohème, Tosca, Die Zauberflöte, Cavalleria rusticana, Macbeth, Simon Boccanegra, Falstaff, Un ballo in maschera, Die Fledermaus, etc), and has participated in numerous concerts and social events. He has cooperated with all Greek orchestras and such singers as Rolando Panerai, Ghena Dimitrova, Kostas Paskalis, Dimitri Kavrakos and Frangiscos Voutsinos. He participated, among others, in the world premieres of Medea and Electra by Mikis Theodorakis and The return of Helen by Thanos Mikroutsikos. He has wide discography. He teaches voice and musical at the Philippos Nakas Conservatory, Athens.
