The GNO Celebrates the World Music Day at the EMST
National Museum Of Contemporary Art (EMST)
The Greek National Opera celebrates the World Music Day with a grand concert, on the veranda of the 4th floor in the Museum’s new building, at Fix, on Tuesday, June 21, 2016, at 21.30. Distinguished soloists will sing arias and duets from contemporary operas and music by Britten, Stravinsky, Rachmaninoff, Vlasov, Ravel, Bernstein, Hahn and Duparc, welcoming the new Athens museum that in the future will neighbor with the new premises of the GNO, at the SNFCC, along Syngrou Avenue.
Soloists: Angelica Cathariou, Elena Kelessidi, Christos Kechris, Nikos Kotenidis, Dionyssis Sourbis, Marilena Striftombola, Yannis Christopoulos.
Piano: Sophia Tamvakopoulou
Free entrance upon limited number of priority coupons (200) distributed on June 17 starting at noon on the ground floor of the new EMST building (entrance from Syngrou Avenue) in strict priority order.
