Committed to sustainable mobility, the GNO fosters a cycling culture where bicycles are used as a means of transport, exercise and recreation.
Within the GNO, a 2.5-km-long bike lane has been created, connected to the Municipality of Kallithea bike lane and the metropolitan bike lane network of Athens.
At various points of the GNO, there are secure bike parking racks for people who opt to reach us by bike.
Since 2017, there is a regular free shuttle bus service, operating along the route Syntagma—Syggrou-Fix—GNO and serving more than 150,000 passengers per year.
For the movement of staff and associates of the GNO around the GNO Park, electric utility vehicles are used with the goal of containing CO2 emissions.
By taking the Esplanade of the GNO that crosses over Poseidonos Avenue, one can bike from Kallithea to the Floisvos seafront.
The largest EV charging station in Greece with 50 chargers for simultaneous charging of electric vehicles operates on the ground floor of the car park building, as part of a cooperation among GNO, Natural Gas – Hellenic Energy Company.
